Homicide investigation in Texarkana, Texas

Texarkana, Texas police are investigating a homicide. The fatal shooting happened around 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning in the 3300 block of Nichols drive in Texarkana.

The suspect, 19 year old Quadreuy Flowers fired one shot at 20 year old Darius Carter. Investigators say Carter had been visiting a woman, at an apartment complex. The suspect, who is the ex-boyfriend of the female, entered the apartment and confronted Carter.

Carter died from his injuries. Flowers was arrested and is awaiting bond.
