LSU All-American defensive lineman Sam Montgomery will show support for a friend, a foe, and his home state on Saturday against Alabama.

Montgomery plans to wear the No. 21 taped to his left arm. The move signifies his support for South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore, who's season ended after a horrific leg injury against Tennessee.

The defensive lineman's ties to South Carolina were front-and-center when the Tigers hosted the Gamecocks in early October, and his connection appears to cross opposing team lines.

No. 5 LSU (6-1) hosts undefeated and top ranked Alabama in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Nov. 3rd.
