Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover has begun an intense daily regimen of physical therapy designed to restore strength and mobility to his surgically-repaired quadriceps tendons.
The mayor underwent successful surgery Oct. 15 and remains hospitalized at Christus Schumpert. He has conducted his duties from his hospital room since injuring his legs after falling at a local elementary school on Oct. 3.
Glover will participate in today's City Council work session and tomorrow's regular council meeting via conference call.
No date has been set for Mayor's Glover's release but his doctors are pleased with his progress.
