Kimberly Rusley was born and raised in Bossier City, and loves her hometown. Kimberly came to NBC 6 as a reporter in August 2012, with five years experience in broadcast. She worked at KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, holding roles as a production assistant, web producer and newscast producer.
Kimberly covers several different kinds of stories, but focuses on Bossier City and Bossier Parish government. She loves to stay up to date on the growth and development of the city she calls home.
Right now, she attends LSU Shreveport, seeking a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications. For many years, Kimberly competed in the Miss Louisiana Scholarship Pageant. She was crowned Miss Bossier City in 2010, and
still loves being involved in pageants.
Kimberly loves to sing, travel, model and emcee different events. Community service is something that's near and dear to her heart. She encourages those in the Ark-La-Tex to reach out to her.
