Masked men rob Waffle House

At approximately 4:33 a.m. on October 11, 2012, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Waffle House restaurant located in the 6100 block of Financial Plaza Drive.
Upon arrival, patrolmen learned two male suspects, one of whom was armed with what appeared to be a shotgun, entered the business, confronted employees there and demanded money.
The robbers received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene of the crime on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspects are described as black males, both of whom were wearing ski masks and dark clothing.
Investigators are working at this time to recover surveillance video footage from the business.
