Caddo Parish's new interactive website user friendly

By: Nancy Cook
Updated: October 8, 2012

Caddo Parish today launched a new website aimed at making it easier for residents to communicate their concerns.

According to Parish Administrator Woody Wilson, the website, http://www.caddo.org, offers several new features and an iPhone or iPad app for requests made to the city.

"I am excited about the significant enhancements and improvements we have made in the new web site," Wilson said. "It is very user-friendly, and it provides our citizens and visitors with a wealth of information and a better way of communicating with us their concerns."

One of the new features included is a request tracker that allows citizens to request information or report problems online.

Residents also will have access to email or text message notifications about Parish activities, meetings, and other updates after signing up on the website.

Wilson added that full calendars for numerous commissions, services and parks are now published online with the new website.

An online forum also exists that allows residents to voice concerns directly to the government in a digital forum...Reported and written by Dan Jovic

To check out the website for yourself simply click http://www.caddo.org.
