ESPN--Baltimore2007-02-08-1170949371.pngFour times the Caddo Parish commission has asked voters to approve a tax increase to fund the juvenile justice center. It`s failed four times. For years the juvenile justice system has battled with funding issues. With no operating funds set aside the juvenile justice center depends on river boat gaming funds. The Caddo commission is looking at an alternative way to get the funding the juvenile justice center so desperately needs. They`re trying to get voters to rededicate public works funds to operate the center. Caddo administrators say taxes would not go up and public works projects would not be affect by the plan. Voters will be asked to approve the rededication of funds on May 5th.
