A local high school was crowned the new NBC 6 Spirit Stick winner this morning.

Loyola College Prep won week three thanks to their show of school spirit during their football game last week.  The student section went wild when they saw our cameras at the game.

Friday morning they took over the spirit stick during a pep rally live on our morning show. Last week's winner, Captain Shreve, decorated the stick in gold and green, and now, it's LCP's turn to make it their own.

The football team, cheerleaders, drum line, drill team and student fans showed off their chants, cheers and overall school pride.  One Flyer Football player says when the student section gets loud, they're motivated to play harder on the field.
