Former TXK. youth coach in custody

A former Texarkana youth baseball coach is in custody, accused of a crime involving a minor.
       
61-year-old Walter Richard Roberts of Texarkana, Arkansas appeared in U.S. District Court on Tuesday.
       
He's charged with interstate transportation of a minor with intent to engage in sexual activity.
       
A "not guilty" plea was entered on behalf of Roberts.
       
Roberts was reportedly a youth baseball coach during the 1980's and 1990's, coaching boys between nine and 14-years-old.
       
Roberts remains in U.S. Marshal custody.
