The manager of a small apartment complex in Texarkana, Texas, found a tenant covered with blood in his apartment Friday afternoon.

Texarkana police were called in reference to a dead body at a residence in the 3400 block of West 7th Street around 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012.

Officers arrived and checked the scene to discover that 63 year-old Donald Ray Morris was deceased.

Although it is still early in the investigation, investigators believe that a disturbance occurred inside Morris' apartment and that foul play is suspected in his death.

Morris' body will be sent to Dallas for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

This marks the third homicide of the year in Texarkana, Texas. Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to call Texarkana Crime Stoppers at 903-798-STOP.
