Books for troops

The Thrifty Peanut and Soldier's Angels and the Shreve Memorial Library have donated and gathered together thousands of books for troops overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The goal this year is to send 100,000 books.

Organizers say it's a small way to say thank you and to give those fighting a small comfort from home.
