Updated: August 21, 2012
Repairs are coming to some highly-traveled roads in Texarkana, Arkansas.

The city Board of Directors adopted Monday the first five stretches of streets to be improved as part of the city's $10 million street bond program.

Arkansas Boulevard will see much of the work, which spans from Texarkana Regional Airport to the Texas state line.

Repairs are also expected to 24th Street at State Line

The work could start by Spring 2013, though city officials say other smaller projects could be worked on before then.
