City of Texarkana, TX: West Nile confirmed in Bowie County

The West Nile Virus has reportedly come to Bowie County, Texas.

A spokesperson with the City of Texarkana, Texas said Tuesday there are confirmed human cases of the West Nile Virus, according information from the Health Authority for the Texarkana-Bowie County Family Health Center.

It's not known the exact number and when those cases were confirmed.

A press conference is scheduled for Wednesday morning with more information.
