Jury selection begins in 2nd degree murder trial

Jury selection began today in the 2nd degree murder trial of  Harold Free. Free is charged in the August 2010 shooting death of his step-son, Terry G. Johniken, Jr., then 21.

   Free is represented by defense attorneys Richard Goorley and Ross Owen.

       Jury selection will continue Tuesday in the Caddo Parish courtroom, of District Judge Mike Pitman.
