Marion County Authorities Investigate Explosives Found Near Lake

Marion County authorities are working try to figure out where an explosive device found near Lake O` The Pines came from. A hand grenade was found Tuesday night by a man fishing on hurricane creek. He took it to a near by store and called the Sheriff`s office. Investigators then called Barksdale`s Bomb Squad to report the device. It is now at Barksdale Air Force Base to determine the type of grenade and if it could still explode.
