AT&T major data outage

UPDATE 8:35pm: According to AT&T service has been rerouted through Dallas and crews will work overnight to fix the fiber optic line that was cut.
According to AT&T public relations an outside contractor has cut a major fiber optic line at a cellular switching station in Shreveport. That means AT&T cell phones will have no data function until it is repaired or rerouted. The data outage is affecting customers in Shreveport, Monroe and Alexandra. At this time they are trying to get service routed through Dallas.
