Local church gives away free school backpacks

A local church gears up to  give away thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies.
Praise Temple of Shreveport will give away 3,000 backpacks stuffed with rulers, erasers, pencils and notebooks for it's 11th annual back to school prayer and school supply give a way. It's open to kindergarten through high school students.
Students must be present to claim their backpacks.


Praise Temple is partnering with the non-profit Village Circle to host an educational job fair tonight for students.   
That is  from 6 P.M. To 7-30 P.M.

Tomorrow is the annual back to school prayer and school supply giveaway.
Backpacks will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.
