(Canton, OH) The Saints offense set the tone on the first drive of the first preseason game in 2012.

Drew Brees guided a run-heavy, 10-play, 77 yard drive on the game's opening possession, that gave the Saints a 6-0 lead after Mark Ingram capped it with a 1-yard touchdown plunge.

That was Brees' final drive of the game. The $70 million dollar quarterback went 4-5 for 41 yards through the air.

Backup quarterback Chase Daniel was 15-20, 203 yards and a touchdown in relief duty.

The Saints will have a quick turnaround. New Orleans will head to New England for their second preseason game on Thursday, August 9th.
