Demon Football Floods Northwestern State

(NATCHITOCHES) 95 demons filled the locker room and football facilites at Northwestern State University on Wednesday, as the team arrived for the first day of preseason camp.
Day one had little to do with football and everything to do with acclimation. Players were assigned dorms and equipment, and endured physical exams.
Along with the physical aspect, players were also put through a series of academic meetings and school policy reviews.
The team's first practice will be held on Friday, August 3rd. Veterans take the field at 9:45 am, meanwhile the newcomers will have to endure the heat of a 4:40 pm practice.
Until then, players and coaches will run through a series of meetings and physical conditioning tests, familiarizing themselves with their football surroundings.
Northwestern State welcomes plenty of newcomers to the program. Two of the 95 players that reported to camp are freshmen.
The Demons open the season at Big 12 conference member Texas Tech on Sept. 1st.
