Morin beats Hughley in Harrison County district judge race

In one of the most controversial judicial races in the history of Harrison County, Texas, voters ousted incumbent 71st Judicial District Judge William T. Hughley in favor of attorney Brad Morin. Hughley received 3,371 votes to Morin's 4,062 votes.
In Bowie County's Commissioner, Precinct 1 race, Mark Hawkins with 474 votes bested Bill Atchinson, who received 308 votes. In Bowie County's Constable, Precinct 5 race, Robbie Caudle won with 211 votes, while opponent Brent Caudle received 133 votes.
In Cass County's Constable, Precinct 3 race, Chuck Cordell garnered 151 votes to William "Bill" Page's 114 votes.
