A search warrant was served just a few hundred yards from the KTAL Channel 6 office here in Central Mall Tuesday. Just before 10 am, agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency gathered outside the south side of the mall. They then proceed to serve a search warrant at store called Rockafellas. The clerk working seemed unaware why agents were there. After talking for a few minutes, officers began packing up some merchadise. What exactly they took was out of the view of cameras. KTAL reporter Jason Clark tried speaking with the store clerk but she declined to comment. A spokesman for the agency says the raid was in connection with some alleged counterfeit goods. He couldn`t provide more details than that. According to its website, one of the roles of Immigration and Customs Enforcement is to target organizations responsible for producing, smuggling and distributing counterfeit products. Some of these products are protected by intellectual property rights.
