Did you ever wonder how one person can truly make a difference in one community?
Well say hello to 14-year-old Erica Lemre  she's a local teen  aiming to make  sure those suffering from mental illnesses receive  basic necessities.

Erica hopes to assemble 100 boxes to deliver to other teens  in Brentwood hospital on July 26th. Each box costs $25.00   to assemble.

So far, Erica and her mother have received donations from retail chains including American Eagle and Arispostle
Their hope is that others will also partner with them.

"Everything in the content of the box is basically after Erica started writing down what the kids needed," said Deborah Lemere.

The first wave of care boxes will go to the adolescent unit. They will then start to focus on younger children
Erica  hopes her story serves as an  inspiration to others.
