Manhunt on for driver who 'accidently' ran over his girlfriend

Hempstead County
Deputies, Arkansas State Police, Hope Police, and other area law enforcement
officers are currently involved in a manhunt in the Old Washington area. After
Deputies received a report of a white female being run over near County Road 2.
The vehicle a gray 2008 Chevy Trailblazer with a white male driver and female passenger pulled into the Washington Store.
The male driver carried the female into the store and left her on a table and exited the store. The female appeared to be suffering from various injuries. When asked by a bystander what happened, the man replied he accidently ran over his girlfriend when she got out using the bathroom on the gravel road.
The suspect fled the scene in a northeast direction; the suspect was reported to be wearing a white T shirt and blue jeans. From information in the stolen vehicle the white male is believed to be William Christopher Heflin of Texarkana, Texas. Heflin is 5'7" Tall, 148 pounds, has brown hair, blue eyes and a penchant for body art, ergo, a number of tattoos.
If anyone sees Heflin, call 911, or local law enforcement.
The victim, a white female, approximately 23-years-old, was flown by Air Life to a Texarkana hospital with numerous injuries.
