Drive-through worker nabs debit card number; buys electronics

A fast-food worker was arrested today for using a customer's debit card number to purchase electronics, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Shanderian Harris copied down a customer's debit card number while working the drive thru at McDonald's on Bert Kouns at Linwood in May. She used the number to purchase two televisions on-line for $1,277.

Harris, 17, of the 3600 block of Darien Street, was arrested following an investigation by Caddo Sheriff's Detective Frank Edmondson of the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force. She was booked into the Caddo Correctional Centerfor unauthorized use of an access card.
