Power outages due to severe weather reported throughout area

SWEPCO is currently reporting a total of 7,416 northwest Louisiana, east Texas and southwest Arkansas are experiencing power outages due to this morning's thunderstorms throughout the area.

  Crews are at work restoring power throughout the area.

  Broken down by parish/county the outages are as follows:

Bossier Parish 744

Caddo Parish   3,340

DeSoto Parish  572

Sabine Parish   103

Webster Parish298

Bowie County  1,730

Gregg County  159
