Caddo Animal Investigators are working on a horse abuse case in the northern part of the parish. Director of Animal Control, Doctor Michael Dale says four horses were taken from a Vivian man earlier this week. They were malnourished. Dale says there were apparent signs of physical abuse. The animals were transported to parish property and are now undergoing treatment. One was in such bad shape it had to be euthanized. Authorities still haven`t figured out what action to take against the owner. The horses will stay in parish custody as the investigation continues.
