A Second Stimulus

They believe President Obama has to go positive after the latest grim jobs report.
"My advice to the president would be to go big, go bold, focus on what worked so well for
you before," says Democratic strategist Steve McMahon. "Put out a specific, bold economic package and tell people what that would mean for the country if you're re-elected and it's enacted."
Some want a new stimulus plan.
"Start creating jobs, start doing things," says Politico's Ben White. "We all drive on these roads, they're crummy. We have a broadband infrastructure that's terrible. We have a lot of stuff that as a nation we could do, and now is a great time to do it, and he should make that case."
Republicans say there is no way the president could get a new stimulus package through Congress.
"We have a half a million people more unemployed today than when Barack Obama took office, so going back now and doing the same thing that didn't work the first time and spending even more money that we dont have. I just think it's insanity," says RNC chairman Reince Priebus.
