A late afternoon accident in south Bossier City sent two men to the hospital, and left others with minor injuries.

According to Mark Natale, public information officer for the Bossier Police, a 60-year-old man was southbound on Barksdale Boulevard when the pickup truck he was driving left the roadway, hit a ditch and then went across the parking lot of Jim's South Tires, 5416 Barksdale Blvd., coming to a stop after crashing into a Mustang in one of the bays about to be lifted.

The driver was transported to LSU Medical Center with undisclosed injuries, and a Jim's South employee was transported to Christus Schumpert Hospital with head injuries sustained from flying debris, Natale said.
