Friday power interruption in Stonewall-Frierson-Kingston

SWEPCO customers in the Stonewall-Frierson-Kingston area will experience a scheduled power interruption for approximately one hour Friday evening, May 18, so SWEPCO crews can safely change out a transformer in the Kingston substation.

The outage will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday. Communities impacted by the outage include Stonewall, Kingston, Frierson, Holly, Carmel and Gloster. There will be 3,124 customers without electricity while the work is completed. SWEPCO appreciates your patience during this time to upgrade the electric facilities.
