Feist-Weiller Cancer Center (FWCC) at LSU Health Shreveport is expanding the program that allows its physicians to share their expertise with the community monthly at Shreve Memorial Library.
Topics covered thus far include pancreatic cancer, integrative oncology, lung cancer, colorectal cancer and clinical trials.
"The community reception and support have been outstanding," said FWCC organizer Lori Panu. "We're hoping to branch out to other libraries next year and utilize more of our FWCC faculty, staff and fellows' expertise with presentations."
All sessions are open to the public at no cost. The entire series, sponsored in part by the LSU Health Sciences Library, takes place at Shreve Memorial Library, Broadmoor Branch, 1212 Captain Shreve Drive in Shreveport. Call Lori Panu for more information at 318-813-1405.
