Man Crashes Car After Being Shot During Robbery`

A Texarkana man was seriously wounded Friday afternoon. 25 year old Sticotti Crawford of Texarkana, Texas was shot multiple times on West 38th Street between Elizabeth and Olive. Police say Crawford tried to drive himself to the hospital, but later crashed at the intersection of Pine and 33rd. Crawford was transported to Wadley Hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Police say Crawford identified 18 year old Carl Atkins of Texarkana, Texas as the alleged shooter. Officials say Atkins fled the scene but was arrested by Arkansas State Police and brought back to Texarkana. Atkins is being questioned at this time. He may be charged wih aggravated robbery. Police say they are looking for 18 year old Lionel Harris for questioning. Police believe robbery was the motive behind the shooting.
