Summerfield and Stockwell Place are more than twenty miles apart and their scores on the state isued report cards are far apart, too.

Summerfield got a "C" but administrators here say its anything but average.  Thanks to teachers and programs encouraging kids to think outside the box.

"I'm proud to be here because our teachers are so dedicated and so wonderful. Their goal is to instruct these children, make them happy, welcome and send them home having learnind something new every day."

Stockwell Place earned an "A" on its report card.  Adminstrators say that's because students excel in the classroom and beyond. "There's nothing better in my day than going into classrooms and seeing students highly engaged in learning with enthusiastic teachers giving them the opportunity to learn and knowing parents will support that at home."
Each school uses unique programs to help students boost test scores.  Summerfield has little kids rock, Stockwell Place as a winning checkers club.  Both are working to make sure students succeed in the future and become well rounded members of the community.
