Red Light Snapshots Headed To Marshall

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Here`s a reason to think ""twice"" before running a red light, knowing a camera is waiting to take a snapshot of your license plate. Drivers in Marshall, Texas, will soon be held accountable for running red lights. Police Chief Jim Wilkins has propsed a plan to intsall traffic cameras at busy intersections. They`ll be installed using guidelines from the Texas D.O.T. They won`t cost the city a dime, violators will actually pay for them. City commissioners are expected to vote on the traffic cameras at a meeting Thursday. After the plan is ""approved"" a traffic study must be done before the cameras can be installed.
