FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Junior Julysses Nobles of the University of Arkansas men's basketball team will not be returning to the Razorbacks for his senior season, Arkansas Head Coach Mike Anderson announced on Wednesday.

Nobles (6-1, 193) played three seasons for the Razorbacks, starting 54 of his 91 games.  He averaged 7.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists overall with averages of 7.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in Southeastern Conference games.  In Arkansas' upset of No. 15 Mississippi State in January, Nobles scored a career high 24 points with seven assists and no turnovers.  He tallied a career high 11 assists as a freshman against East Tennessee State

"I appreciate everything that Julysses did for the Razorback program during his three years," Anderson said.  "He is a good young man who will continue to grow and mature.  I wish him the best as he pursues another opportunity to play basketball and earn his degree."

"I have enjoyed my time as a Razorback," Nobles said.  "After speaking with Coach Anderson, I feel it is time for me to move on."
