Prom dress sale supports charity

Project Princess dress sale starts Saturday, March 24th at 8 am at the Horseshoe's Louisiana Downs. Shelli Briery says more than 100 dresses have been donated, many worth hundreds of dollars. But, it won't cost you nearly that much to cash in on this benefit. Dresses go for 5 to 25 dollars with money benefitting local shelters. And while that will leave money for teens to prepare for prom, stylist Deanna Bass says do-it-yourself prom hair can be easy. Many soft styles require a curling iron, hair spray and depending on the look you want bobby pins and hair ties.
