A juvenile who allegedly punched an elderly business owner in Texarkana is expected to attend a hearing Thursday, where could be certified as an adult.

Authorities say 83-year-old Robert Webb had been escorting the teenager out of "Skate America" last month when the boy allegedly punched Webb in the face.

A family member says Webb was hospitalized with "extremely deep" bleeding in his brain and a broken nose.

The boy was arrested for a felony three charge of injury to the elderly and turned over to juvenile authorities.

The skating rink has since returned to work, but a full recovery could take a year.
