"My first bill as president will be house bill one campaign reform," said Charles Roemer. "We're going to take the corrupt money out of Washington."

Charles "Buddy" Roemer isn't the president, but the former Louisiana governor has several issues he would like to clear up if he makes it to the nation's capitol.

"Tax code you can not read it's unfair, we need immigration reform, we need trade reform, we need banking reform, we need economics and healthcare reform," he added.

Roemer says the government needs to stop tap dancing around the energy issue.

"We ought to be a country that help's small businesses grow, we ought to be energy independent we ought to drill for natural gas and use it in america," he continued. "We ought to have fair trade with China not free trade."

A trade enforcement unit that will work for all America.

"I don't think people care what politicians think, I think people care what they think and they live in a country that's in trouble," said Roemer. "People are looking for decent work, decent jobs and I think they know that the government is part of the problem."
