Dr. Joseph Morale, "For USC to accept Wiley College coming to that campus in 1935, imagine the audacity that Wiley College had to have had. "Yo want to go to Los Angelas and to compete against the national champions."
More than six hundred attendees witnessed the two schools debate and provide such insight for their topic.
"I'm really looking forward to be able to share the passion I have for debate," explained USC's Clara Purk. "For current events and things like that with a large audience, I think I've been trained a lot to for this moment."
A moment Wiley debater Chad Mossman has anticipated for a long time.
"I was actually recruited last year to come to Wiley. I had other offers for debate, but I thought that Wiley College," he said. "Not only had the passion and drive for debate but the campus inspired me."
Back to the debate, the two schools continue to pay homage to the one's who paved the way before them.
"Our government truly does take our opinion into account," concluded one debater.
