Updated: January 7, 2009
Hundreds gathered in Natchitoches, Louisiana to remember 5-year-old, Corinthian Houston. Corinthian was remembered as a great son and big brother. Residents, young and old, came to pay their final respects. Last weekend, Houston was abducted from his grandmother`s home, then strangled and burned. Corinthian`s mother`s boyfriend, Terrance Carter, and George Herring,III, remain in custody charged in connection with his death. This week, Carter was transferred to the Caddo Correctional Center after Red River deputies decided he wasn`t safe in their facility. Carter is placed away from other inmates.
