Lorie Parker is this week's Makeover Monday winner! The almost 40-year old wanted a new hairstyle.
"I've spent the past ten years homeschooling my boys and trying to make life a little less lame through arts, crafts, and innovative education. Now that I've only got one teenage boy left, I've got the time and resources to pull my stuff together and start my own entrepreneurial venture in the educational field. I could really use a makeover at this time to update my look, to feel a bit more 'ready' to be up in front of people in a more formal setting, and last but not least to tame the casual chaos that has become my preferred 'style'" she wrote in her application letter.
DeAnna Bass, a stylist from Xclusive Salon (6401 Line Avenue) in Shreveport gave her a new haircut and some much deserved pampering.
