Downtown Shreveport's 14,000 Monday through Friday employees now have a convenient place to satisfy their Sushi, Sashimi and California Roll cravings. BON Asian has opened on the ground floor of the Beck Building, 400 Travis Street. Diners can enter through the Beck Building on the Travis Street side or directly via Edwards Street.
Traditional Asian dishes include Gyoza (fried chicken dumplings), Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp and Grilled Unagi (eel) Sushi as well as a number of fried rice and teriyaki dishes. In addition, BON Asian offers 20 different varieties of rolls, including a crunchy roll deep fried with crabmeat, cucumber, avocado, cream cheese and walnut and a rocket roll made up of spicy tuna, cream cheese, jalapeno and walnuts.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.
BON Asian joins two other new eating establishments downtown- Monsour's at 830 Fannin, serving south Louisiana and seafood favorites, and Sevendipity, 420 Marshall. Sevendipity serves up creative lunch specials Monday-Friday along with a daily menu of massive sandwich plates, fresh soups and more.
