Son Arrested After Attacking Parents

An East Texas man sits in jail tonight accused of attacking his parents leaving one of them dead and the other clinging to life.
42 year old Timothy Ryan is accused of stabbing his father and then running over his mother.
Investigators are still trying to sort the details, but right now they don`t have a clear motive.
Around four Tuesday afternoon, titus county deputies were called to a home off of FM 1001 in the Argo community.
Inside they found Doyle Ryan suffering from several stab wounds.
Doyle`s wife, Shirely, was found outside a few hundred feet away underneath the wheels of a pickup.
Investigators believe Timothy Ryan ran over his mother with his pickup.
Neighbors can`t believe this happened in their small community.
Deeanne Renner has known the family for several years.
"This was something that was horrific and something totally unexpected. I have never seen anything like this out here...would have guessed it," Renner said.
Shirely Ryan passed away Wednesday morning.
Doyle is listed in critical condition at a Tyler hospital.
Their son is being held at the Titus county jail on one point five million dollar bond.
