BPCC HOSTS SPIRITUAL WELLNESS SERIES

Bossier Parish Community College announces the first event in the Spiritual Wellness Series: "The Renewing of Your Mind" from 11:30 am-12:30 pm on Tuesday, September 13 in F-203 (Emmett E. Cope Student Services Building) on the college campus, 6220 E. Texas Street, Bossier City, LA. 

 

Keynote speaker will be Dr. Randy Harper, Senior Pastor of Bellaire Baptist Church, Bossier City. The series is about appreciating, exploring, and understanding a person's own purpose in life no matter what his religious faith or beliefs.  

 

The Spiritual Wellness Series is sponsored by the Office of Diversity/Multicultural Relations and co-sponsored by the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). The series is free and open to the public.  For more information, call (318) 678-6111.

BPCC RECEIVES MAJOR GIFT FROM ENCANA OIL & GAS (USA) INC.
Encana Oil & Gas Company (USA) Inc. is investing in the future of the energy industry in Northwest Louisiana with a contribution to Bossier Parish Community College's Capital Fund.  The $425,000 donation will help jumpstart the building campaign for the new Center for Integrated Engineering Technologies (CIET) Building.  The new structure will house the Oil and Gas Technology programs, the Engineering program, the Construction programs, and the Advanced Manufacturing/Industrial Technology programs.

BOSSIER VOLUNTEERS GUILD DONATES TO BPCC FOUNDATION IN SUPPORT OF NURSING STUDENTS

On Monday, October 3, 2011, the ladies of the Bossier Volunteers Guild (formerly Christus Schumpert Volunteers Guild) donated $10,000 to the BPCC Foundation to support students in BPCC's nursing program. Since 2003, members of the Guild, also known as the "Pink Ladies" have donated $1,000 - $2,000 annually toward the scholarship fund to recognize eligible students in the medical field.
