Nine Arrested In Park Sex Solicitation Sting

By: Import User
Updated: February 6, 2007
Park volunteer Jason Scott first told news channel six about the problem at local parks Friday. We launched our own investigation that same day. Using Scott as bait we found a man who told Scott exactly what he was after. "I mostly like doing not getting. Doing and not getting?" Scotts goal was to get police to crack down on these men who were using the park as their sexual haven. Less than a week after our news story aired Shreveport police brought in fifteen undercovers who posed as men soliciting sex from other men at the park. Ten men were arrested during the sting operation. Two of the suspects went as far as touching the officers. On top of that, one man admitted to testing positive for H-I-V.
