Dates set for Austin Super Regional

AUSTIN, Texas -- The NCAA announced dates for the 2011 Austin Super Regional, and Texas found out its best-of-three series against Arizona State will begin Friday, June 10 at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
All three games are slated for 6 p.m. starts with Friday and Saturday's games set to be televised on ESPNHD. If necessary, Sunday's game will be televised on ESPN2HD.
This marks the eighth time the Longhorns have advanced to the Super Regional round since it was instituted in 1999. Texas has hosted a Super Regional on five previous occasions, including 2000, 2002, 2004, 2009 and 2010.
Some general admission tickets are still available for the Super Regional.
The winner of the Austin Super Regional advances to the College World Series which is set for June 18-29 at the newly constructed TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
