A judge set bond for an East Texas man accused killing someone with a cross bow. James Shope`s bond is now one million dollars. Authorities think he shot Jerry Don Parker in the chest with an arrow. When authorities in Nash got to a home on Watts Lane Saturday afternoon, they they found Parker dead. The unusual murder weapon was not far away. "I have to say this is first time I`ve ever run across anything like this," said Lt. John Harris of the Nash Police Department. "It was a standard cross bow commonly used in deer hunting. It had a broad head tip with three razor blades that pentrated the front of his chest." Investigators say the two had been aruging and believe alcohol played a role in the murder. Shope remains behind bars at the Bi-State Justice Building on frist degree murder charges.
