SRAC arson trial continued to March 9 due to lawyer switch

  Gary Vinson, accused SRAC arsonist, will have to wait another three weeks for his day in court.

    Caddo District Judge Ramona Emmanuel reset Vinson’s court date to March 9, after his attorney, Mark Rogers of the Indigent Defenders (I.D.) office resigned from the Caddo Parish office in order to join the Bossier Parish I.D. office.

    Attorney Kammi Whatley of the Caddo Parish I.D. office is now Vinson’s primary attorney and will sit first chair when the trial begins March 9.
