Updated: February 3, 2011

The Natchitoches Police Department Detective division has arrested a man for the charge of Intentional Exposure to the Aids Virus.

Patrick Turner, 26, of Pleasant Hill LA was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center on today.  A female victim came to the Detective Division in January after she saw on television that Turner had been arrested in Sabine Parish on 4 identical counts.

She advised that she had unprotected consensual sex with Turner on several occasions in Natchitoches over the past several months.

After an investigation into the allegations, detectives secured a warrant for Turner who turned himself in Wednesday night.

The Detective Division requests that anyone with any prior sexual history with Turner please come forward and have themselves tested by their physician. Names of all victims will remain confidential.

Additional charges may be filled against Turner if anyone comes forward. Anyone wanting to contact the Police concerning this incident should call Det. Jessica Williams at 471-6422 or 357-3780, or Capt. Brad Walker at 652-0183 or 357-3858.
