40-year-old Eddie Lee Jackson is in the Caddo correctional facility. Charged with second-degree kidnapping, investigators believe Jackson abducted his ex-girlfriend 30-year-old Tracy Winslow, Sunday night from her oil city apartment.
"It's hard not to be angry," explained Raleigh Shelton.
Working with Winslow for nearly ten years Raleigh Shelton said he is shocked by the news and wants answers.
"She is missed, we just want to know where or what has happened to her," he added.
On Monday when Tracy was reported missing, the day before her dodge charger was found engulfed in flames.
Caddo investigators said Jackson's statements about what took place the night Winslow went missing, are inconsistent.
"He has not provided a lot of information to us," said Cindy Chadwick.
Chadwick said the department is actively searching for Winslow and needs help from the public to find her.
"The whole thing is obviously suspicious anytime you find a car on fire and the owner of that car can't be located the whole thing is suspicious," said Chadwick.
Meanwhile those who know Winslow, try to stay positive.
"We don't speak of the worse," said Chadwick. "We're very hopeful. we just want closure."
