BOSSIER CITY, LA – After three weeks away from home, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs are set to return from their longest road trip of the season with two home games this week at the CenturyTel Center! The ‘Bugs are set to host the Dayton Gems Thursday at 6:35 pm and then take on the rival Laredo Bucks Saturday at 7:05.

Thursday’s game is “Back in Black Night” presented by 98 Rocks, when we encourage fans to wear all black to the game as the ‘Bugs switch to their black jerseys at home during the second half of the season. The game will also mark the first-ever matchup between the Mudbugs and one of the five former International Hockey League teams new to the CHL this year.

In addition to wearing black to help us “black out” the Gems on Thursday, you can also take advantage of our best ticket offer of the season! For this one game only, bronze level tickets are just $5.00 each at the CenturyTel Center box office and gold level group tickets are only $10.00 each when you buy ten or more at the team office inside the CTC!

For Saturday’s game against the rival Laredo Bucks, the ‘Bugs are hoping the force will be with them on “Star Wars Night” presented by AEP SWEPCO. Characters from the Star Wars films will be in attendance to interact with fans and we’ll have Star Wars themed entertainment throughout the night for this great rivalry game. We’ll also have a special check presentation to the American Cancer Society before the game as the Mudbugs make our donation of the funds raised during our “Light the Night” event back in October.
